Achievements of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, Asansol in the session 2005-06
- Master Swapna Sarit Sahoo secured 92.4% marks in Class-X exam. in the year 2005 and broke the previous record of the vidyalaya.
- The result of thePrimary Section was 100% and very satisfactory in other classes.
- Our result in Social Science in Class-X was very excellent in the year 2005. 35 students secured more than 75% marks, out of which 11 students secured more than 90%.
- 53 students participated in Basketball, Volleyball and Handball Regional Meet. 04 of them represented in the KVS Handball Regional Team and 02 in Basketball.
- 03 students were selected in SGFI Meet. They are Rghunath Tudu, Shyam Sunder and Deepak Kumar.
- 05 of our students represented in West Bengal State Handball Team. They are Soumya Prakash Sahoo, Shyam Sunder, Suraj Yadav, Chandan Yadav & Imran Khan.
- 03 of our scouts, Rahul Kumar, Deepak Kumar & Sourav Dutta ware selected for Rashtrapati Awared.
- 03 our students, Rahul Kumar, Avinash Kumar & Karan Prasad were awarded Rajya Puraskar in Scouts & Guides.
- Master Sandipam Palit represented the Regional Science Exhibition Project in the National level, which was held in Bhubaneshwar.
- Master Manish Kumar was awarded NTSC scholarship for Class-X.
- Master Siddhartha Mahapatra was awarded merit Certificate in Green Olympiad.
- We have conducted CCA programme and school level games & sports meet round the year for all round development of the children where each of the children gets an opportunity to show his excellency in the elaborate programmes of debates, speech, quiz, arts, painting, dance, drama and music etc. and in the process wins a number of prizes.
